Classic Manager is an independent and unofficial football simulation. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or otherwise associated with any football federation, governing body, league, competition, club, player, players’ association, stadium operator or other third-party rights holder. Real-world names are used only to identify real-world teams and players.
Real-world references
Classic Manager includes the game’s own invented clubs and players, and also optional historical season content that refers to real-world football by name, including players, clubs, leagues and competitions, stadiums and venues, countries, and historical seasons and events.
These references are included to identify and represent real-world football subjects within an entertainment simulation. We do not claim ownership of third-party names or trade marks. All third-party trade marks, trade names and other intellectual-property rights remain the property of their respective owners.
The appearance of a name in Classic Manager does not indicate that the relevant person or organisation has participated in, approved, sponsored or endorsed the game.
No logos, photographs or likenesses
Classic Manager is text only. It does not include official club crests, competition or federation logos, kit images, player photographs or player likenesses. This is a standing decision, not a temporary limitation.
Simulation data
Some information in Classic Manager reflects real-world factual football information, such as a player’s name, nationality, age, playing position and club, a club’s name and ground, and which competitions were played in a given season.
Other information exists solely as part of the simulation. In particular, player attributes, ability ratings, potential, transfer values, wages, form, morale, simulated injuries and suspensions, transfers, team selections, performances, match events, awards and results are generated for gameplay. They are not official assessments or representations made by any player, club, league or governing body, and they are not predictions about any real person or organisation.
A simulated event occurring in a player’s saved game does not mean that the event occurred, will occur, or has been alleged to have occurred in real life.
Where our information comes from
Factual football information used in Classic Manager is compiled from publicly available sources, such as published season records and league tables. Ability ratings are derived by our own methods and are not taken from any other game or commercial database.
We aim to be accurate but cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current or error-free. If you believe a factual detail is wrong, you are welcome to tell us at classicmanagergame@gmail.com and we will consider corrections in a future update.

Please include your name and contact details, the rights holder you represent if applicable, the right you believe is affected, the specific content concerned and where it appears in the game, and an explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorised. We may ask for further information where reasonably necessary.
We will review bona fide notices promptly. Where a rights holder asks us to, we will rename or remove the content concerned in the next update, and we may modify, restrict or remove disputed material while a matter is investigated or resolved. Submitting a notice does not by itself establish that the use complained of is unlawful, and nothing on this page waives any rights or defences available to us or to any third party.
